PRODUCTS:

Q. Where are your candles made?

A. All of our products are hand poured by us, Oliver & Olivia from our Shop & Workshop in Lacock, Wiltshire.

Q. What are your candles made from?

A. We use an eco friendly, vegan soy wax and pure fragrance oils.

Q. How long will your candles burn for?

A. Our small 150g candles will last between 35-40 hours and our large 400g candles will last between 55-60 hours.

Q. What is the best scent for summer?

A. Wild Mint & Camellia is our summer favourite! With notes of fresh wild mint and the sweetness of Camellia, is is our most popular scent during the summer months.

Q. Are your products Vegan friendly?

A. Yes! All of our Candles, Wax Melts & Reed Diffusers are suitable for vegans.

Q. How long do your Reed Diffusers last?

A.Up to 6 months, depending on how often you turn the reeds.

Q. How do you stop your candle from burning down the middle?

A. Allow the wax to burn right to the age of the fist burn, this can take up to 4 hours. Keep out of the way of draughts and follow our candle care guide that comes with your purchase, for the best results.

Q. How many Wax Melts do you get and how long do they last?

A. There are 8 scented wax melts in each packet with a burn time of 6-8 hours per wax melt.

Q. Can I get samples of your scents?

A.Yes, we add a free Wax Melt or Tealight sample to every online order, we choose these at random based on the scents you have purchased and those similar we think you would love! However, if you’d like to try a specific scent you can purchase our individual Tealight or Wax Melt samples online or instore for £1.50.

PACKAGING

Q. Are your glasses recyclable?

A. Yes! they can go in your glass recyacbles or once burnt they make useful jars to reuse.

Q. Can my order be sent directly as a gift?

A. Yes, ofcourse! Use our gift note option at the checkout to add a personal note, followed by the recipients address in the shipping and we will take care of the rest. We will include no prices but please note the boxes are branded.

Q. Is your packaging recyable?

A.Yes, all of our cardboard postal and gift boxes are FSC certified and can be recycled or refused. Our packing Noodles are used to pad the box to protect your gifts. They are made from starch which can be composted or better still they dissolve when run under warm water and lastly, our ‘Thank you’ and business cards are made from paper which can be recycled.

DELIVERY

Q. What are your lead times?

A. Orders placed before 11:30am Monday-Friday will be sent out the same day! Anything after that will be dispatched the next day. (This excludes Sundays and Bank Holidays)

Q. Which Courier do you use?

A.All of our parcels are sent out using Royal Mail.

Q. How long will my parcel take to arrive?

A.Our parcels are sent as Royal Mail 1st Class which takes 1-2 days for delivery.

Q. I need a gift for today, can you offer that?

A. If you need your parcel quickly and are local, we would recommend using our Click & Collect service. Order online for collection from our store within an hour of purchasing. Available everyday from 11-4, 15 East Street, Lacock, SN15 2LF.

Q. What if i’m not in to receive my parcel?

A.Royal Mail may leave your parcel with a neighbour or in a safe place. However, if not it will be taken back to the sorting office and they will leave a card with information regrading re delivery or collection.

Q. Do you ship internationally?

A. No, not as of yet. However, please get in touch at olivhomeware@gmail.com and we can get a specific quote for shipping prices to your location.

Q. I’ve got a problem with my delivery, what shall do?

A.If you have any issues at all please contact us at olivhomeware@gmail.com and we will do our best to help.

Q. My items are faulty/ broken, what shall I do?

A.If you receive any parcels which have been broken in transit, or have any problems with our products please contact us at olivhomeware@gmail.com, with details of the issue and images. We will be happy to help and issue any replacements or refunds accordingly.

Q. What is your refund policy?

A.We hope you are happy with our products but if not, please let us know!

We will refund or replace any faulty products, or those who have been un opened and still in the same package, brand new. We cannot eccpet items which have been partially used. If you are sending items back to us, we will refund you the cost of your items, excluding your delivery charge.
