A ROYAL VISIT TO OLIV

On Wednesday the 25th of January the Queen Consort made a Royal Visit back to her home village of Lacock, She was welcomed by all of the locals and her presence brought a buzz of joy and excitement in the village as people gathered in the streets to see her. After planting a tree at the local church she began to walk up the streets visiting local shops, including O L I V!

We were very lucky and hugely grateful to have had this amazing opportunity to show her around the shop and share our story with her. She took great interest and listened to how O L I V began from our kitchen table and how its grown over the years. She then smelt our entire range of scents before taking home a Cedarwood & Jasmine candle as she told us that Jasmine was one of her favourites.

As well as showing her our own products we also took the time to praise the other local artists work which we stock in the shop and showing her the unique and handmade products they make.

Before leaving she said “I shall come back and do a bit of shopping” as she told us how lovely our shop was.

A truly memorable day for our small business!
