Inhaling ylang ylang triggers the release of endorphins and "feel-good" neurotransmitters like serotonin. Combined with the grounding warmth of amber, it creates a deeply relaxing environment that lowers heart rates and eases daily tension. -
Firstly check your jar has no cracks of defects that could be affected when heated.
Place your jar in a bowl of boiling water and leave for 5-10 minutes until the wax becomes loose. Pop the wax out and place directly into a bin (never put wax down the sink) clean any excess wax with a tissue. Once cleaned and empty unwrap your refill candle and pop it in the jar, light and enjoy. -
Warning: May cause an allergic skin reaction. Toxic to aquatic life with long lasting effects. Avoid release to the environment. IF ON SKIN: Wash with plenty of soap and water. If skin irritation or rash occurs: Get medical advice/attention. Collect spillage. Dispose of contents/container to approved disposal site, in accordance with local regulations. If medical advice is needed, have product container or label at hand. Keep out of reach of children. Never leave a burning candle unattended. Always extinguish the candle and do not relight when the wax is less than 1cm. Always burn on a heat protected surface. Never burn your candle for longer than 3 hours. Excessive burning can cause issues. Be cautious and burn your candles sensibly.

Never burn your candle for longer than 3 hours at a time.
Allow the wax to melt to the edge of the glass on the first burn to prevent your candle from tunnelling down the middle.
Trim your wick to 5mm before relighting every time.
In between burns place the lid back on your jar to keep the dust out and the scent in.
Replace your candle jar when the wax is 5mm fro the bottom (you reach the OLIV logo) -

Bought as presents so not used myself. However I have used other candles from Oliv and I find that they really do scent the room and they burn right to the bottom of the jar. OLIV is now my preferred source of scented candles.

These candles are EXCEPTIONAL. They last a very long time, provide a warm & embracing scent throughout our home. Guests always comment & ask what it is. We've bought at Christmas fairs (that's how we were introduced to this fantastic British company). Our favourite scent, beautiful quality and we're supporting a small British company...what's not to love!
